國立宜蘭大學機械與機電工程學系徵聘「專任教師」(機電整合領域)1名(115年4月30日收件截止)
一、徵聘職級：專任助理教授(含)以上教師1 名。
二、資格條件：
         (一)獲國內外大學機械相關領域博士學位，並具有機電整合相關領域。
         (二)具英語授課能力。
         (三)具產學合作或執行計畫(研究)等經驗尤佳。
三、工作內容：
        (一)教學：教授機電整合相關課程及本系其他相關課程，並配合EMI(全英語教學)課程需要。
        (二)研究與服務。
        (三)新聘教師須配合本系課程授課，並應協助學院特色人才培育相關教研工作。
        (四)協助本校行政業務及其他事項(如大學社會責任或永續發展)。
四、應徵資料：

             3.重要著作影本（抽印本）或已出版具公信力資料庫論文(請加註第一作者或通訊作者)。

 (一)應徵經初審資格符合者，由用人單位擇優通知到校參加面試及中英語試教；若應徵者未具有大專合格教師證書，經初審、面試通過，先送外審通過後，方得提報本校教師評審委員會，

(三)新進教師獎勵措施：新進教師每學期得申請減授鐘點3 小時，到校三年內獲政府機構研究型計畫補助者，每案最高額外補助50%經費。

Faculty Position Opening: Department of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering

National Ilan University (NIU), Taiwan

The Department of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering at National Ilan University invites applications for one full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or above.

I. Position Rank

One (1) Full-time Assistant Professor (or higher rank).

II. Qualifications

1. Education: Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related fields from a domestic or international university, with expertise in Mechatronics and related areas.

2. Language: Demonstrated ability to teach courses in English.

3. Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in industry-academic cooperation or managing research projects.

III. Responsibilities

1. Teaching: Instruct courses related to Mechatronics and other departmental core subjects, with a specific focus on EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) curriculum requirements.

2. Research & Service: Conduct high-quality research and participate in departmental and university service.

3. Curriculum Support: Newly appointed faculty are expected to align with departmental curriculum needs and assist in college-level talent cultivation and research initiatives.

4. Administrative Support: Assist with university administrative tasks and other strategic initiatives (e.g., University Social Responsibility [USR] or Sustainable Development).

IV. Application Materials

1. Curriculum Vitae: Including a personal bio, publication list, research statement, list of teachable courses, and course syllabi in both Chinese and English.

2. Diplomas: Photocopies of degree certificates.

3. Selected Publications: Copies of key publications (reprints) or papers from reputable databases (please highlight if you are the first or corresponding author).

4. English Proficiency: Supporting documents or statements regarding the ability to teach in English.

5. Letters of Recommendation: Two (2) letters of recommendation.

6. Declaration Form: A signed declaration regarding household registration, passport, ID, or residency status in Mainland China.

1. Photocopy of Faculty Certificate issued by the Ministry of Education.

VI. Employment Date

The appointment is expected to begin on August 1, 2026.

VII. Remarks

1. Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview and a teaching demonstration (in both Chinese and English). Candidates without a valid MOE faculty certificate must pass an external peer review of their publications before being recommended to the University Faculty Evaluation Committee.

2. Notification: Only successful candidates will be notified. Incomplete applications or those not meeting the qualifications will not be processed, and application materials will not be returned.

3. Incentives for New Faculty:

   • New faculty members may apply for a teaching load reduction of 3 hours per semester.

   • For those who secure government-funded research projects within their first three years at NIU, the university provides an additional grant of up to 50% of the project funding per case.
